Bev. Clone / Constantine Sankathi - Bev. Clone / Constantine Sankathi

12/22/2025

found this split by random on youtube and mmmmh is the best way to describe it. Bev. Clone side is clearly the typical emotionally driven hardcore but sounds ALOT more hateful than I was expecting. It's a very nice contrast/mix when compared to the Constantine Sankathi side, which has more of the typical harsh emocore sound with more emotional feeling. A perfect 5/5 in my book

Full Blown AIDS - 6 Song E.P.

Haven't listened to this band really since I was 12/13 years old and they surprisingly still hold up fairly well. This is their first release so it does have Seth Putnam on vocals. Now to clear something up, I don't exactly agree with this being called sludge metal (even tho it has clear musical influences on the instrumental side) just because Seth uses his iconic vocals on this. Though I will say, the contrast really compliments each other heavily, especially in tracks such as Stupid Bitch and Alcoholic (which is imo the most sludge metal-esque song on the 7")

TOP TRACKS: Stupid Bitch, It's All Fake, Alcoholic

Ultimeatum/Dung Beetle - Ultimeatum/Dung Beetle Split (2025)

12/22/2025

first of all, can I express how PISSED I AM that i missed out on the CD release??? I found these guys when there was 3 left and decided to think about buying it instead of just impulsively buying it. Anyways... this is MATHGRIND- and by the cover already u can tell this side is pure myspace mathgrind worship! Ultimeatum's side is pure nonsense and chaos that stabs at you as quickly as you came across it- also has Regular Show samples and a track about one of them ranting about how they wish they saw a succubus in their sleep paralysis vision. A++

TOP TRACKS(Ultimeatum side): Benson's P.O.V, Monchhichi, Song Four

Okay so Dung Beetle side encompasses that nonsense microsong grindcore aesthetic (with even more nothingburger vocals) that we've all seen before. Bite sized songs that do it in just the right way with mismatching vocals that scratches that part of my head that fell in love with noisecore/grind years ago. I really have no favorite track here since they all kind of sound the same (not a bad thing), and all in all should be listened together in full for the best experience.

onegirl37razors - DEMO (2025)

12/21/2025

(BTW SORRY FOR TERRIBLE PIC) Ok so honestly I wanna give attention to the few albums i own on CD... and this is easily one of my favs!! killer new metalcore from Maryland that has just the perfect amount of some melodic influences with some harsher dxc sprinkled here and there. Honestly is just a fairly impressive release that needs more recognition. BTW THANK U braden (vox for og37r) for accidentally sending me another cd lmaooo

TOP TRACKS: 37 razors, spongebob spatulahands

Hadaka Matsuri - Four Track Demonstration (2003)

12/21/2025

another relic and a victim of the massive influx of skramz bands in the early 2000s. sadly, this is their only release as far as i know... very blunt and to the point screamo. every track here is just perfect in its own way and perfectly resembles the classic heartfelt skramz sound <3

TOP TRACKS: USA Golds, Office Romance At The World Trade Center

laikocore - transformations (2025)

fairly simple ~7min album comprised of edited audio of their washing machine. not much to say, but it itches that part of the brain that makes me love noise-adjacent stuff. do recommend
